Hi! My name is Mackenzie Scharman and I created Floating In Place in 2021! I chose the name Floating In Place because, to me, it embodies the feeling of daydreaming and meditating which are both part of my creative process.

My art explores inner worlds through abstract visuals and includes themes of self love and transformation. My art is not limited to but inspired by nature, mental health, made up worlds and surrealism. 

I create art to heal and to connect with myself and others. I truly believe in the power of creating and the therapeutic benefits it offers. 

My dream is to make more products with my art including apparel as well as a coloring book! Thank you being here and supporting my art journey!
